    Is starview reliable ?

    Is starview reliable does the channels go off often or glitch ? I have a kyrptview a780 and it goes off all the time and it glitches alot thanks

      am going to answer you TRUTHFULLY, before you get all the biased sv people in here.. whatever anyone else says, sv can and does go off regularly.. and u get charged for the priveledge

              I've had one for nearly a year and most of the time, like now, it has been fine. There was a problem earlier in the year when the people running it got busted and the server was down for months, but its been fine for the last few months.

              True, it now seems you have to pay, but ?45 per year is better than a new box every year and much better than ?60 a month, which some of my friends pay to S?y. However some people on here don't like SV, but I am only speaking from personal experience and on the whole that has been good.

              By the way, if people think I am "bigging up" SV and the "support" service please be assured I'm just a regular punter and have no connections with anyone involved in this business whatsoever.

                  seems to me if the OP has glitching or total failure etc on his krypt , he has a signal problem

                  there is no way that a krypt is as bad as he makes out

                      Signal and quality is fine, like now sky sports 4 and sky sports news is off now its been fine for months, before they got busted it was brilliant couldn't fault it, it seems like the servers not 100% yet

                          if channels are not working its something you have to put up with

                          neither box has every channel working and nobody has the right to view every channel either

                          glitching and freezing are different issues than not decoding at all

                          I am sure the previous sv team didnt want to be busted either

                          and the kv team were not busted !!
