What Software to flash

Got a Box super here of my mates, it says The box super api ver:6.00e-E boot ver 8.0.

Can some one please tell me what version i have to flash to it to to get it up and running again..

Is it 8.04e? if so i have downloaded it but theres no bin file?

First of all make sure you have the latest firmware on the box. Should be 8.04
You check this from the menu - System setup/System information
If you haven’t got 8.04 you can download from the sticky threads.
Plug you Box into your Pc and switch it on. Click on the 8.04 file .When gt rom appears select download.(usually com 1)
Once you have flashed the new firmware go into the menu and do a factory reset.
Rescan the box choosing your local cable provider.(N*L etc) Choose english-autoscan
Once the channels have saved, exit out 3 times.
Press menu and then 1570 you will go into another secret menu.
Highlight the default key and press ok.
Then scroll down to the emu and turn it on.
Exit out and put your box onto a S*y sp1
Wait for it to update. This may take a while.
You should be now all up and running
