Starview 1 no channels found after power psu change

I have a starview 1 which was working fine. After i came back from my xmas holiday, it would not power up, so i ordered a new power circuit board and replaced it (very easy to do). Now i cant find any channels when i scan. I thought that the cable provider has cut my feed but no, because a friends sv3 box works fine on the line. I have tried 3 different firmware versions with no success. Any ideas before i buy a new box. p.s i consider myself fairly experienced with starviews as i have this genuine box since they first came out. Your help is appreciated.

did you plug ribbon back in mate just a thought sorry to offend if i have but not intended cheers mate

yes, i checked that, but if i hadnt plugged it in properly, i wouldnt get a TV output. Does this sound right? Thanks for your help
