error LD80
Please help me someone!!I've downloaded latst fimware on my SV Superbox 3_ version 8.04 , but the box won't stay on long enough for me to re-scan all the channels,it just re-boots itself and comes up with LD80 on the LCD .No matter what I do I can't keep the box on for more than 30 seconds before it shuts itself down,displays the error message, then gets stuck on the The Box Super initial screen and will not respond to anything - I have to power it off.This has been happening for the last 3 days and oddly enough the only time it doesn't power itself off is when I'm uploading the new firmware.Does anybody have any ideas of what I can do next.It would be greatly appreciated.I know I've had a few replys on other threads for which I'm extemely gratefule but I'm now getting desperate.

try flashing with 8.02 and see wat happens . would also be advisable to try a factory reset if poss, remem
ber to turn emu and default on..........might be worth pressin default to get rid of bad keys etc ..bad flash...and finally theres //////....try turnin on and off at the back of the box before flash ....hope this helps ..bigfella

Thanks Bigfella,I've managed to update 8.04,factory re-set,re-scan channels,EMU on choose provider etc, got Sky Sports for @ 2 mins before box re-boored itself again .Powered off/on and the Ld80 LCD message appeared again. Several off/on later it's stuck on the Super Box screen.Tearing what little hair I've got left out now.Anyone had any similar problems?Comment

try a ealier firmware ...factory rescan n default...?. if this doesnt work ,,check system set up ..press system infro and see wats firmware has flashed on box.. if flashed rite then................. ...probably not wat u wanna hear but it s obviously a knackered box u ll have to try n get a replacement from where u bought it from......suggest a sv 4 easier to set upLast edited by bigfella; 11 January, 2009, 18:57.Comment
