new box help required please

Hi all, been a while.... We all know that after the expiry dates (login message) comes up we need to pay a sub to you know who,but if you buy a NEW box(starview7) and install the most recent software,will you get 12 months viewing or do you have to pay from day 1 now.

some suppliers may give you some time to view,only supplier can answer that,if not pay to view needed.

Thanks cactikid,have you tried to get info from suppliers...its like pulling teeth.they tell me to go onto YOU KNOW WHO,s website to get info, ive registered but cant find anything. The suppliers are retailing the boxes (when theyve got them) so dont come with software and to be honest they dont really give a toss cos once youve flashed the box theres no comeback as far as guarantees are concerned.But to be honest i thought that you would get 12 months as we used to and then pay a sub. If thats not the case i might as well bin the idea and get a dreambox 500s.The only problem is ???? can i get one all singing and dancin ready to go?

It depends where the suppliers get the boxes from, some do get them with 6 Months. Have a look at the links on the forum you are talking about.

You will be struggling to get a Plug & Play Satellite box, it's not that difficult if you take your time and read through the forum.
