hi i jst bought the starview the box super usb can any one tell me how to get the scrambled channels to work

You need a Null RS232 cable to connect to your pc(9 pin female to female)
Or USB to 9 pin female
First of all make sure you have the latest firmware on the box. Should be 1.07
You check this from the menu - System setup/System information
If you haven’t got 1.07 you can download from the sticky threads.
Once you have flashed the new firmware go into the menu and do a factory reset(default).
Rescan the box choosing your local cable provider.(N*L etc) (Choose english-autoscan)
Once the channels have saved, exit out 3 times.
Press menu and then 1570 you will go into another secret menu.
Highlight the default key and press ok.
Then scroll down to the emu (key code)and turn it on.
Exit out and put your box onto a S*y sp1
Wait for it to update. This may take a while.
You should be now all up and running -
Or you could put the firmware on Pen Drive and then follow khenryashley's instructions.

this is the latest f/ware for your box m8 ,use the pen drive to install the bin file through your starview menu on your tv.

Further to my reply above.
As the others have said (thanks chaps)its easier using a usb pen drive. (just woke up when I posted the first one)
Download it to your USB pen drive then put into usb slot on the box.
Go to menu / usb . Highlight the file then press ok.

You will also need to load the logo file on to the box mate as well as the f/w too.Sometimes a slow gradual approach does more good than a large gesture.Comment
