Sv7 set up HELP

Hi can anyone tell me what I do next, Ive set box up, im only recieving a few channels bbc1 2 itv ch4,5, nothing else and apparently it's got 6 months subscription installed, my kryptview I use upstairs u choose telewest network but there's none on starview, is there something I need to do ?
