    Why do you use Starview?

I'm new to the scene, and trying to figure out what box to go for. From what I gather, it's pretty much just personal preference.

What's the pros and cons of Starview, and why do you choose it over the other boxes available?

only owned a s/view3 so limited info, but had no major problems, may be luck ,dont really know but i,m happy. tried to help a mate with his eurovox, seemed to take ages to scan for channels, 20 mins+, whereas my s/v does it it about 5.
sorry thats all i can input but search these forums and that should help. bet someone will reply better soon. cheers, ynwa.

as you can see by the amount of people on both e/vox and starview forums they are both very popular and they both have there pro,s and cons,
i have evox downstairs and starview upstairs and both are great.
(maybe its time to toss that coin)

normally, eurovox are quicker with updates than starview, they tend to look after their latest box. from what i gather they dont make any starview 1, 2 or even 3's now, so any being sold are prob going to be clones if sold as new

the cable plug and play boxes are fairly similar. your main priority is probably support where the kryptview is probably the best. if you are after a box go for the dreambox. dont be put off by some saying they are difficult to get up and running.they are certainly more difficult than the plug and play types but they are still very easy.
