Size of recorded shows on Starview 4

Afternoon all, Bought a starview 4 and it arrived today. Can anyone tell me what is the standard size of a 1 hour program recorded onto an external hard drive. Trying to decide what size hard drive would be sufficient. Thanks

An hours programe is approx 1.5 gb

hi m8 gthere s a thread about 3 pages back .that might be of interest to u.....usb stick for starview 4 (Multi-page thread 1 2 3)
knocker........on it satmos recomends the passport hd exeternal 250 harddrive at about 50 to 60 pounds.....but have a look at the thread gives some advice about usb s sticks as well ...hope this helps ..bigfella

Thanks for the replies. I have a few spare hard drives hanging around the house. Just gonna buy an external case for them. So 250 seems to be adequate space. They're formatted to Fat 32 so should no probs. Nice one
