Are you on v1.07, it might be a firmware issue?

i am using v1.07 and get the same problem, loads of blanks in the 11 to midnight slot. my box has always been like this and i remember reading elsewhere on this forum that it is a software bug. we will have to put up with it untill v1.08 is released assuming there will be a v1.08.

Thought it was just a regional issue obviously not. But it seems to only last from 11pm to 12am, so yes it points to a firmware bug.

Do you all have the EPG update button with 1.07 or has it gone missing as said?

Deffo a firmware bug - I'm in cheshire.

EPG update button is still there.

1.07 gives better EPG for up to 5 days (I couldnt get EPG from 1.06 further than 24hrs). Picture seems better on 1.07 as well.

I think any future updates could do with a reminder function (other than the record button).

Thanks for all the top work.

The EPG is certainly a lot better than the days of the Starview 1. The EPG issue looks like it needs to refresh between those hours to keep the EPG populated.

Well thats what I have been told and I have relayed on the info. Bugs can only be fixed if they are reported.

I dont have a problem with 1.07. All programes show after 11.00 pm once you have pressed the epg update button.
                        Cheers

No bother, the work that eveyone does on this is awesome.

The EPG thing is the only problem I've had with it, and its not a prob at all really.

If a reminder could be added some how it would be brilliant, if not such is life, no biggie.

Thanks again satsmo, the info I've got from here, and yourself since I got my SV4 has been top notch.

Thats the problem as some using 1.07 have said that the EPG update button has gone missing after updating and others seem unaffected and the green button feature remains?

                              Hi,

I had the same problem with SV4 USB running 1.07. After 11pm the epg was missing on a lot of channels, when viewing it, before that time I think the info was fine. I only noticed this on the multichannel epg, but it may be present on the single channel.

I think the info is there though, but not being displayed. If you look at the epg with 11:00pm and 12:00am showing on the epg screen (11pm to 1am info) then the epg has blanks. If you press the across arrows on the remote so it shows 12:00am and 01:00am or 10:00pm and 11:00pm (on the epg screen) then the epg is shown fully populated.

I thought it may be some sort of date issue, but I am probably wrong. Please note that I don't think I had this problem until after the time had gone past 11:00pm. Before that then the EPG seemed fully populated if you went up hours.

Full EPG loading button was present, and if pressed downloaded info, but it just was not displayed correctly.

Have not got the box anymore so I cannot test it easily. I was very happy with the software though, a lot better then I had used before, and apart from this very small issue the box was great, with a full five day epg!, unlike my sv2.

                              ex ntl. England.

                              Cheers.
