Starview 4 USB tried and tested USB

My HDD doesnt work with SV4 so i need to get another. Can anyone recommend one that is know to work with SV4 as my current one isnt there half of the time. Is it best to just get a 32GB stick or self powered drive. Just dont wont to buy another one that doesnt work

Weird how it don't work Ben, Not saying you haven't tried or anything but did you format it first to FAT and not NTFS? I've got a cheapo hdd that works just fine does it not see the hdd at all. You may be intrested to know that when you get the box to "see" the hdd. make sure when you start a recording that you just push the record button once only, If you're impatient and press it again because it hasn't started right that second it can cause issues such as the screen going black. Not exactly what you were asking, Thats just friendly advice. Good luck.
