after pressing menu, then 1570 and nothing happens, would assume 1/its not an sv3 . again, how long have you had this box?? who downloaded the firmware?
when you press menu,can you see installation? if so click on it and click t/pest or x c==w, then auto scan, wait for 100% then exit x3 to sly 1. let us know more please....ynwa

pp exit back to tv.

using remote press menu

press menu then scroll to parental control and press ok then on remote press info button then 2004 this will also bring up the cas system.

just like to say thanks...this info helped me loads with a starview 1
