Starview Box wont switch to 'ON'

Hope you guys can help, I lad at work gave me a fix for the Starview 1 box just after Xmas which I downloaded, the TV screen came up with 'The Box PVR' and I could not do a thing with it so I put it to one side as I was fed up trying to fix the box until now, I downloaded the Cryptstar-v1.5-Core400.bin file to try it again but the box wont even go to 'ON' on the front of the box, it only shows a dash. So wont let me download the fix.

I reckon I have truly duffed the box now or can anyone tell me how to get the box up and running.

If the box is U/S now, anyone got any ideas the best replacement box is at present

Flash with the new file set up loader as normal and have the box plugged in but off at the rear press download on the loader and flick box on at rear, it may take a few attempts but should work

Tried it with the new fix but would'nt have it, so tried with an old fix and it worked fine, tried again with the new fix and it updated straight away.
