STARVIEW HD COMBO+ HELP FOR UPDATING BOX PLEASE

Hello guys im new to this site. Have a starview HD Combo+ Box running on the sat side as cable side is down. What updates can I do to make the EPG work as its quite bad at moment, also missing alot of channels so is there any updates to rescan and get new channels working? Also what is the spiderbox firmware all about and how do I install this because when i click on the download section to download the files, it doesnt give me permission as it says im a new member or something?? Please helppp

take some time and make some introduction posts and you should be able to d/l after that

if you want an epg youwill have to go the spiderbox route using "I was bored one day" , as there hasnr been anything useful for the sv combo in over 12 months , then use an up to date spiderbox list too , and use the epg update files for a spiderbox to get a 7 day epg as required

take a lok at other posts while you are waiting as there are plenty here with relevant info

Which sv box is best

Does any one think it's worth purchasing a sv box for the sat side of things? Or are other boxes better?

I've got x4 starviews hd combos and 9600, really easy to use and set up, 2nd hand eBay for ?80 well worth a punt, I have found grooverider firmware works best, but give it a go

hey, bertie ive just got a couple of hd combos with spiderbox software on, but the epg is fair poor. Could you point me in the right direction for an update, as im still trying to find me around. THX

Mate try the carling soft ware will be in downloads section. U then need to go to menu accessory if network not shown type 8989 into remote network will appear then server setup

The only way to get a fully working epg is to run the box with spider firmware
