getting started on a starview 7

I have just been given a starview 7 digital receiver. it has been used before. I have paid subscription and downloaded the software onto my pc. what do I now do with it.

I have the box attached with a Null Modem Cable. Do I need to flash the box again with SMGo 221

Does the CC cam cfg subscription need to be flashed as well as I do not know what to do. My monet is drifting away with no viewing.

    Thanks Nyge

    hope to be

box needs to be flashed by firmware loaded on to a usb stick.
read the tut for using the file.
    Digital Kaos - Downloads - SMGO 2.2.1 Firmware for SV6 & 7
you are sure its the sv7 you have? if so carry on.

cccam is usually used for sat not cable, you have to pay the sub to the starview crowd only to receive the decryption, paying a sat server wont allow box to work as its not sat.the only thing is the firmware to put into the box which gives the direction for the lan to work.not to sure what or where you got that.
