    Box Number

    Hi
Just about to get started when it asked for box number, went through the menu utility system information there is a lot of infomation there, but as your funds are non refunable i'm making sure it the right number.

Is the box number the last 4 digits on the bottom line. if not can you let me know the formation ofthe numbers.

I've seen Leonard question, however I do not have a cable.

    Thanks Nyge

Right I have gone to menu-system infomation in the box there is:

      SW: CARLING-1.04.----------(DEC 08)
      LDR: 01.03(0909)
      HW: IRM-1.00IR----------

I'm Sure its cable its working but only with the basic terestial 5 channels. Starview 7 Digital receiver. How so I know if its cable or sky/satellite. Surely someone must know how may digits there are for the box number if they all need to be registered.

            Thanks Nyge

download the new software and turn on your box,put it on any channel and after a few minutes a blue box will appear in the middle of your screen.
              the box number is displayed

it will be a 12 digit number

If all fails just open the box cover you will see inside the box a sticker with the box number.

Just to confirm for the people who's subs have run out. Do we use the same software used before to "request" new sub? I click submit and nothing happens. Once that's done, I just wait for the Starview team to email me back right?

                      Cheers
