Cant get scrambled channels on Clone Starview

Hi Guy's

I am a dreambox/dbox man, but i'm trying to sort out a starview clone for a friend.
I have flashed the box (twice now) with CryptStar-v1.5-Core257.bin using GTRom v4.00.exe and all seems to go well. I then do a factory reset followed by a channel scan which seems to find all channels, the only problem is the scambled channels will not clear. What am I doing wrong? I've also noticed the firmware version in the system info dosen't change/update, but I dont know if it should. Any help much appreciated.

Thanks for such a fast reply. What I meant by not clearing, was not descrambling or just getting a blank screen/no picture.
Anyway thanks for the great info, all is now well and I can sleep peacefully
