fed up of losing my many remote controls, I bought a giant multi purpose one as a joke. This however needs a four digit code (i thought it recorded and played back IR signals) to work properly. I have the box super usb and have tried a few cable like codes which turn it on and change channel up and down but no more. Anybody had any luck with this?

Have you tried 1668? This is the starview master key.
Sometimes a slow gradual approach does more good than a large gesture. -
just tried it......turns it on and off, and the number one key mutes it (!) but nothing else does anything.Comment

Looks like you might have to either fish out your sv4 remote or bite the bullet and buy a new sv remote matey.
