Your link is the logo file for a sv4 usb

This thread is about flashing a sv2, so you dont want to put this logo file on a sv2, its only for a sv4.

v4.57 and Gtrom loader 4.03 is latest fix for a sv2

I flashed for 457.00 and then i stalled for the bin logo file but still doesn't work my box, so do you have any other idea can i fixed

my box before it was 451 and i didn't used for long time then i tryed to use agian but unfortunaly i puted wrong f/w after that my box just shows that the lcd is on . The remorte just turns it on and off the menu and etc don't work at all .

Use the search feature and on the right hand side you can do a search by user name.
Type in the user name box ZRAN and click on search now.
You will see a post by Zran saying stuck "on" fix.
This sorted my SV2 and I had the same problem as you.
It has all the links to the downloads you need.

ive tried to update my starview 2 as per khenryashley's instructions the update fails. any ideas as to what i can do to sort out the problems?

i have tried to update my sv2 but to no avail. iv followed all the instructions given to me by JoK & Khenryashley and thanks to both of you for your help ive bought loads of leads and tried different pcs but still cant get it going. i was just wondering i live in dunstable and if anyone of you live near by can show me where im going wrong it would be helpful.
