    Starview Newbie

Hi all, another newbie to the site, haven't actually bought a box yet but been researching what's the best to buy. Quite a difficult task in itself as there is so much to choose from so it's quite hard to know what's the best way to go. About 90% going to be the Starview 4 usb jobbie, my research suggests these are quite simple for a newbie plus there is a local shop that sells them so i'll take the plunge and use this as a learning curve. This post really just to introduce myself and thank you all in advance for all the tips, info and help that you are probably going to give me in the coming weeks.
    Cheers,
    Chris

I've bought the box now, downloaded v1.07, read the install guide, which says install logo file which I can't seen to find or will I only see it when plug the usb into the box?

Cheers Jok, went ahead and flashed it with just the v1.07 software and the logo was already present, so this was all that was needed. Excellent stuff, simple to set up, one slight niggle with the auto scan (ntl area?) rescanned under the TW and hey presto everthing working. Thanks for the info.

Welcome to the forum Bringer of bad news but they are going for around the ?90 mark on individual boxes and even less on three or more now.

But saying that all the info is here for you might help a bit
