ive just got a starview 7 with no book, can anyone tell me what the best software to install and how to actually set it up? do i need a dish or can i use an internet connection?

Its not a case of the best S/W mate there is only one that allows it to work i think its the show must go on 2.21 i believe i could be wrong as i havnt used one for ages welcome to the forum m8...................

it keeps on telling me that its a currupt file, ive tried it from a few other sites and just get the same thing, any ideas mate cuz im stumped

gutted!!! i downloaded the torrent and finally installed it on my bow and it still aint picking any channels up :-(((Comment

it is a cable box ,not a sat box,you need the cable input to search for channels first,then your lan to decrypt them,as this is a payview box now a sub maybe needed to open the channels,it depends if box was sold with min sub for a few months or not,that file maybe a zipped file [compressed] needing extraction first before moving it to usb.Last edited by cactikid; 25 March, 2012, 12:26.Comment

And you used to have to enter 1819 to access the server dont no if this is still the case and like CC said its a rar file it needs decompressing with winrar,winzip or 7zip.................I know you believe you understand what you think i said

box only works in uk,anywhere else it maybe a brick,you need a live vm feed to scan on.Comment
