    using original cable box?

    OK so I bought a splitter and I was just about to order a second the box super for upstairs, and then I thought "hang on I`ve already got another cable box..... the original one""

    Can I put the original cable box back on after splitting the cable? obviously I wouldnt get all the channels, but could I do it, and should I do it?

    what do you mean by original. the 1 they installed to you that you pay for ? yes anyhoo ,
    if you no longer pay for it and they clearly arent coming for it then you may want to play with it ( for educational purposes of course ) . cut talkback be fine .

        no its the old tw box that still works on its own, i have a basic subscription still. can I put it on so that i would have two cable boxes one sv4 with all the channels and one tw box with only freeview channels, or by putting the old box on will it stop me seeing anything on the sv4? I cant be clearer than that, has anybody tried it?
