    retrieving lost channels

this worked for me however it may not for you, dont bother auto scanning as with QAM64 youll only get free view and with QAM256 you only get paid channels.
press menu, press right button. select auto search, scroll left or right so that symbol rate is "auto" then push the down button to highlight QAM (its probably reading 64) push left or right until it reads 256. then push the down button until you highlight search. Push OK.
when the scan has finished push exit until the "please wait for saving" box appears. when the OK box on the screen appears push exit again which takes you back to tv. you should now have most of your pay channels but no freeview.
    Now push 1819.
now select a freeview channel. the frequency is displayed on the info bar to the bottom right. make a note of this.
now push menu, right, and then down to manual search. highlight the frequency MUX and scroll left or right until the frequency is the same as the one you made a note of. move down until the QAM box and select 64 by scrolling left or right. leave the symbol rate and NIT alone.
now select search and push ok. this should only find 4 channels or so.
now push exit and wait for saving. exit again and go back to tv, remember to push 1819 to enable.
if you have No signal showing when you select a channel make a note of the frequency and switch from 256 or 64 in the manual search option on that particular frequency.

SORRY FREQUENCY IS DISPLAYED BOTTOM LEFT OF INFO BAR NOT RIGHT!!

THIS HAS GIVEN ME ALL CHANNELS OTHER THAN SKY PREM AND PREM +1
