Are they good value, on average how many times a year do they need recoding, and is it easy to do. Is there any way of watching the ppv channels that are on the box

errrrr yeah i think they r good value.....depends on vermin....easy to flash ,,yup all the infro u need r on this site includin the downloads and there s even a tutorial supplied by lanx to help u...and once u have flashed ur box u can watch wat u want ...hope this helps ..bigfella...please please please read the threads ...all wat u need r there

can i ask a question about the box usb super
i got one for my brother a couple of weeks ago
and i loaded the v1.07 bin and everything is first class
for quality picture etc: but there is a couple of problems
1 the subtittles dont work properly and 2 after the bbc news is
we dont get the local news we get is the london news and not
our area local news granada , what i want to know is can this
box be factory reset and if it can will this clear the memory and the problem?
and if it does, do i just load the v1.07 and rest up as i first did it,
i know nothing about cable i dont have a cable connection

dont much about the sub titles but u can find ur local news at the back on the all channels......if u delete the london news another regions will cum up so delete till ur s cums up ......if u do a factory rest it doesnt clear the firmware off...ur firmware 1.07 ..is still on the box but u need to turn the keycode emu and default back on..hope this helps ...bigfella

thanks mate i will deleate the news chn first and try and get our region news,then if try i factory reset as well turning
the key code on again do i need to scan the chns back
like i do with a sat box,these work different from a sat box

just to add to the above for anyone else
that might need this info, i factory reset
the box and re-scaned the channels and
turned the keycode back on and the sub tittles
and epg all returned and now everything is working
first class. so i think it must have been a glitch on the
box somewhere as for the regional news i will check that
tomorrow and then if needed i will set that,

for regional new in your area on the bbc ..

wait for it to come on 6:30pm BBc1 or what ever time the regional news is on in your area and do .. MENU -- CHANNEL EDIT -- SKIP ... (push right on BBC1, exit, exit, select bbc1 and see if thats your region, if ont repeat till it is)

no need to wait for local news, just do as above, normally for me in s/manc, twice, then n/w on. ifnot try later.ynwa
