hi mate thinking of geting a starview 4 then new one but i have had vm boxes in the past and when vm sent a signal down the line it descrambled it self but about every 12 weeks they would send a bigger single and the box was dead i was just thinking is this the same with the sv4 box.
sorry mate bit new to the side i have a technommate and i can up load file on that.

a hit is a firmware change by vm which fcuks all boxes apart from their own, after a hit u have to flash your non vm box with new firmware which is available within a few days 1 week tops,or enter key codes which are available within 2 hours tops

hi, mate, only had starview3, so cant comment on others. had mine for 10 months, very little trouble. these guys WILL sort you out if things go pear shaped, happened last november, down for less than a few days then al sorted. sv4,s seem easier now because they use a usb stick as opposed to my cable connection to my pc. for ?90 its well worth it. go for it...ynwa
