converting starview 4 recordings to xvid

    converting starview 4 recordings to xvid

    is it possible to record a program onto the starview's usb drive, then convert that recording to avi using my pc?

    I have this great programme that converts all the movie files I use its ConvertXtoDvd is great and takes on average of an Hour to convert the file onto dvd and its free just go on to download.com to get the file hope this works for you

      WOW i have been using ConvertXtoDVD for years to convert my avi files to dvd and i did not know that it would convert the sv4's ts files to dvd i have been looking for a program to do this for ages -- so i thought that i would give it a go and to my surprise it worked this will be great for concerts on sly arts and other progs without adverts untill i can find a prog to edit the adverts out thanks again mate

        i've actually been using convertx for a few years now too. i'm surprised to hear it can convert these ts files to dvd (even VLC failed to play them on my pc). being able to convert straight to dvd will definitely come in handy sometime

        anyways, i've found Allok MPEG4 Converter can encode starview recordings to xvid. its fast and it can convert to a host of formats and it has templates for iPod, PSP, Zune, iPhone, PS3, Zen, Xbox360 and Archos.
