Only with a subscribed box as you need talkback for on demand which these "other" boxes do not have for obvious reasons.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

          help please

          Hi
Hope someone can help me here.
          My setup:
          Virgin (Bristol) - with broadband.

I followed the tutorial as downloaded.

          Donwloaded v1.07 firmware
          Downloaded logo file

          Placed both files on USB
Powered off the SV 4 box
          Inserted USB
Installed the logo file and firmware update (in that order)
keyed in 1570 to get secret menu and set keycode to on.

Did an automatic scan on TW and no channels
I read somewhere that I needed to do a factory reset - which I did - did auto scan and nothing

I read on another forum that if you have one feed and it gets split into two (i.e. one for broadband) you should disconnect broadband feed whilst doing an auto scan

Can someone tell me where I am going wrong????

I dont see any channels even though I am a full virgin sub..

any help would be greatly appreciated.

          Thanks..

You seemed to have done everything correctly.
Go to menu and then system setup and then system information.
It should read s/w 1.07. if that is ok then you may have a problem with your cable connections.
Have you got a normal Vermin box and does that pick up the FTA channels?

The SV4 sorts all the channels into catergories for you.
You can still delete any unwanted cahnnels

fraid not, you need talk-back to get that. you can get boxing though, odd, but its a different system. ynwa
