i have updated my box but now it wont find any chanels
i got i to work for half an hour but then scrambeld chanel came up and since then it will only work if i mess about with it for about an hour ie re flashing it and re loading my chanels file
but it will only stay on for a minit then says scrambled chanel again

does anyone think it might need the power supply replacing


some one please help as i have been trying to fix it for days and its doing my head in

ps. i know i have posted in other threads but i still havent fixed it

i have also tried this but when it is scaning for chanels on the botom of the screen where it shows the bars as it is scaning
it says ok. but on the top half of the screen where it shows you what chanels it has found non come up. i know my cable feed is ok as i got the basic service from virmin and they had to put new feed from the box in the street

If you're line feeds down Mate , all's you'd get is "no signal" displayed , if your box is finding the channels in the lower section of the scan box , but not storing them in top sections , it sounds like a possible memory problem with it .
I don't know enough about them to say for sure , but have flashed "the box" dozens of times and not had this problem .
Just watch and wait , i'm sure one of the "Guru's" will pick this post up !.

what firmware are you flashing it with m8.

8.04e it will flash ok

i have had it working after i have flahed it but it will only stay on for a few minits

try menu then default then exit to slysp1 , leave to update...ynwa
