I am using an f splitter with virgin media. I have one running my internet and the other for the starview. Ive swapped them around and the signal is working for the internet. What else could I check.

Try using the direct cable feed without the splitter. Could be a faulty splitter

I will try that now. In the instructions it says logo file, what is that. I just have the update.

Some boxes come with the logo file installed. When you turn the box on you should see the logo at the start (the box super usb) If this does not appear you will need to load the logo file ont the box.

I have just tried everything you suggested. Restored to factory settings, re flashed the firmware and put the cable lead in direct. Still nothing found and still cannot access the cas menu. Follwed the instructions to the letter. My internet is showing a strong signal, so wouldnt the cable tv signal be strong also.

Sounds like it is not flashed. What does it say in system info?

It flashed OK. To access the CAS are you pressing menu and then 1570?

If you are in the UK I recommend you use 1.07. Are you sure you have a genuine box as later firmware releases will brick a clone.

when scanning are your picking the correct provider. IE NTL .exc&w. telewest
Your cable is definetly connected to the top input on the back of the box

Ive checked the pics it looks genuine, I got it from a reputable place. Yeah Im pressing menu , then I get the language screen and the 1570. I am in the uk, I will try 1.07.

I dont think you can get into the cas menu until you have scanned and found channels.
I presume you still have no channels after scanning

What part of the country are you in, the nearest town or city will do.

Ive just re flashed 1.07, still no channels. Iam in Rochdale, near Manchester.
