newbie feeling frustrated !

hi guys

i live in the glasgow area and just bought the box super usb (starview 4 i think)

i downloaded firmware (1.05) and logo files and put them on the USB AND THEN ONTO THE BOX

i then done the 1570 secret menu etc and turned keycode on etc

everything went well but when i did the automatic scan only around 31 channels came up - the others all have the dollar sign

anyway the bow says data updating but it has been for the last 11 hours with no joy

am i doing something wrong or should i be doing something different ?

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

the newest firmware is 1.07, try loading that. once you have installed it do a factory reset turn on emulator (1570 as before) turn off using power button on back then back on and scan again. if you are still having problems try turning off and on again. hope this helps.

As gary has said you need f/w 1.07

when u turn the keycode on dont forget to press on the default
