sv1 flash fail

hav sv1 orig.trying 2 load latest fw gtrom 4 not finding box code GCR3510 THEN accepts but wont download just saying flash failed. any ideas friends. going slightly mad.

are u using correct null modem cable?tried changing com port?

Agree with ck sounds like a cable issue. Are you using a laptop per chance with usb to serial adaptor? Causes many problems.

You shouldnt need to have any cables or box connected though for GTRom loader to display as default Com port 1 - change to match where you are flashing from if its not com 1; baud rate: 115200; stb model GCR3510;

might be corrupt file could download another copy or try the 4.03 gtrom loader.

only gtrom 4 u can use on sv1,anything else used may brick ur box.
