Starview 4 Super USB In Ireland (ROI) NTL/Chorus Confirmed Working???

Can i confirm if this new box (Starview 4 - Super Box USB)
Works in Republic of Ireland on NTL/Chorus???

Also if so, what is the best place to buy one of these boxes?

Welcome to the site m8.
You will find al the info you need here.
First of all look at the top of the starview forum and you will find the sticky threads with the latest firmware(You will need 1.09)
Next go to the download section and select the starview catergory. You will find a tutorial there for the loading of the frimware for the your SV4.
We encourage you to browse the site for any info but let us know if you get stuck.

I am not to sure where to buy one in ireland. I am sure someone will let you know soon when they pick up this thread.

hi im new to this site and just bought starview 4 box and want to know what i need to get all the channels. im a dummy so can you explain in simple terms what i have to do to get up and running. goin mental here cheers everyone xx

i dont know if im being annoying, but i recently got a starview 4 super usb box. and im clueless how to work it, i read through the previous messages, have no idea what you meant by look at the threads? i downloaded the firmware 1.12 onto a usb stick, popped that into the starview and selected it in the usb menu and it rebooted itself. but after that i have no idea what to do.. thought that would be it but guess im wrong. please someone help me!!(in lame and simple terms, im not good at this)..

now software is on box, go to sky sports etc, press menu, now type 1570 on remote, turn keycode on and exit back to channel you chose, should now update.

i am unable to go to any channel as nothing is coming up. no signal or anything. i know its in correct position because my old the box-t works perfectly but this one jsut wont pick up on anything... just says no channels found when i auto scan it. am i doing something wrong do you think?

try a different provider...btw.. where are you from,and dont say melbourne!!!!

criky.. ...your definetly scanning on the wrong symbol rate

or you have the cable plugged in to the wrong Coax at the back of the box.

looks to me like you have the wrong box. the box t has a terrestrial tuner, sv4 has cable tuner. if you get your service via aerial then you defo have wrong box.
