i got starview 7 box i havent all the channels for reasons i have done a auto scan a few times but also switched off the box by the wall still cant get all the channels back please help .

its a tv channel not a setting,also check your box is connected to the internet,

Whats everones definition of a reboot? Switching it off and on by the mains, factory default or other?

Yes rebooting is switdning it off and on at the mains do your router aswell as the box m8....................

Hmmm, thought as much. Ive tried that with no avail . Ive turned both off at the mains and the switched them back on. I let the modem become stable and find a connection before i scanned the box for channels. Is this right or do i scan straight away?

Btw - i always switch everything off at the mains before i go to bed everynight as i dont like standy, is this a problem for the box?
