hi, can anyone tellmehow they're getting on with their starview 4 box

I have had no probs with my SV4 with the exception that the EPG has to be reloaded every day.

But that is a small problem and, as the man said, there is a perfectly good programme guide in the newspaper every morning.

Hi m8, welcome on board, the more you searsh the better you master it. The software you need for SV4 is 1.07 , download it from the forum and the guide how to update SV4 as well and follow the poceedure. Good luck

hi, just done 2xsv4,s for 2 mates. no probs.just make sure you turn box off at back before you put usb stick in an out . be patient, its well worth it..ynwa

starview usb is excellent, but i dont like the epg (non alphabetically oreganised channellz)

well i got a starview 4 today, followed tut to the letter and hey presto sv4 bricked message 8882 on lcd so i'm not happy lets hope cablebox4u will replace the unit. if not i'll have to get a Tailor-Made Circuits
unlees n e 1 on here has got one i could borrow or buy of them.

well went and got myself this kit - Tailor-Made Circuits flashed the bast hard and wipe the sweat off my brow all working fantastic.

now a little update the guy i spoke to 'mash' was telling me that starview have actually asked him to make 100 of these kits up and he sent them off last week.... now does that tell us a story....i think so.

so from me its official the Tailor-Made Circuits starview usb/Pansat 8882 fix max232 kit works
excuse me now i have to go and spank a hairy little friend of mine.
