StarView 7 & 6 Box scrambled and mysterious firmware floating around can senior members confirm its legit as I'm concerned A: Not To Brick my Box B: if its not "The Kiddy" who created this firmware then who?!? and will if affect previous paid subs. I'd appreciate if Satsmo Confirmed it.

hi all newby here contacted the starview team regarding new firmware view 3.0.they sent it me attached to an email,put in on my box but lost my sub about 2 months and only got last 6 digits of box number,contacted them again and said i had to buy another 6/12 months sub and the remaining sub would be added on, total joke if you ask me hope this helps all! but reading other posts looks like it works for some but not for others!

Hi on firmware 3.o there is also Boot Loader Upgrade does this need to be applied for fix to work ??

Hi i have donre the irmware upgrade everything seemed to go in fine when completed expiry date came back as original 06/jul/2012 and only the last 6 digits of the box appeared i am told this is a server problem and will have to wait until the enginees fix it. it appears to happen with some boxes but not others can any body confirm.

Can someone give me a link for the medicine we are all looking for Firm***e on SV7 as mine is showing not connected since AM of yesterday done all the auto search etc NOTHING still showing not connected, and is anyone from the brummie area b20 who can advice in person over a call...i'm completely thick at this stuff. talk to me about cars and i will guide you how to change the cambelt over a phone but this is ridiculously a joke for me...HELP PLEASE!!

look m8,i have no affiliation to the sv team but i do have an sv6 which was given a second lease of life after dying on its arse 18 months ago,i chose to pay a if i am honest, meagre sum to receive a plethora of channels which would cost more per month via vermin or sly than i am paying at the mo.

i went in with my eyes open and if it all went tits up tomorrow i would not complain,personally,i go to work for coin.not for the love of the job,not to make the world a better place,coin pure and simple and i have no problem in paying the sv team for all in all a good service for the outlay
