    Starview 6 & 7 UK LAN Latest Firmware

    Veiw 3.00 Readme
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    To install

    extract/open "Unzip Me.zip" Until you have the file named Veiw 3.00.ups

    copy Veiw 3.00.ups to a external storage device or usb pen (make sure its formatted to fat 32)

    insert external storage device or usb pen into the usb ports at the rear of the box

    Press menu > utility > usb > uk > Veiw 3.00.ups > ok

    s/w upgrade > ok

    wait for s/w upgrade to complete and box to restart

    once restarted
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    Factory Default

    menu > installation > factory default > ok > ok
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    Scan for Channels
    menu >installation > autosearch > ok
    symbol rate "your symbol rate" > search >wait for search to complete > ok >exit >exit
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    Activate
    go to premium channels (ie sly sports 1) press 1819 on the remote

    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    Screen format
    menu > options > osd setup > screen format > ok > 16:9 > ok > exit > exit

          i have jus put the new firmware in and it has changed my sub expiry date and its not workin can sum1 plz help me.

              recheck what is on your box and date of expiry.

                  Cactikid i have rechecked it says box num and todays date as expiry but it was august b4 i updated fw.

                                                  i think starview are deducting a month when you update to newer firmware,if you want box back you will need to renew your sub.
