SUBSCBRITION HAS DISAPPEARED

please help went out today came back staview 7 box was of just a blue all i had screen all i had was channels 1-5 when i did another scan i had a look a system information and my subscribtion is till oct and it is blank i dont know how to get it back i bought the box private i tried to get in touch with the guy i bought it off he hasnt got back to me yet i have had the box 3 months so far ,any help would be much appreciated thankyou

check it has an internet connection, bearing in mind sv boxes were down today anyway so it may be a case of waiting until it comes back

I'm being told that there is a new firmware released. You probably need to check on the SV support site to confirm.

i checked the internet connection it wasnt that i event tried rebooting the modem and the rooter aswell the box .

what type of lead do you need for the firmware and how do you know if its the right firmware alswo i have tried posting a message on staview website and they wasnt helpful never answered thankyou.

hi all newby here contacted the starview team regarding new firmware view 3.0.they sent it me attached to an email,put in on my box but lost my sub about 2 months and only got last 6 digits of box number,contacted them again and said i had to buy another 6/12 months sub and the remaining sub would be added on, total joke if you ask me hope this helps all! but reading other posts looks like it works for some but not for others! update to this just done a friends box he had 3 months remaining same as me he,s box came on with new firmware view 3.0 but he is on l,orange provider,mine is vermin media.

You only need the last 6 Digits of the box number as the first digits are identical on all SV6 and SV7.

It seems the few that lost the remainder of the sub when upgrading actually got the missing period added on to the new sub, so they didn't lose anything
