Starview 7 Firmware 3.00 Problems

I have recently downloaded the new 3.00 firmware for my starview box as i lost connection. This worked and gave me connection however i was suppose to wait a couple of days before it came back on. Instead i was too inpatient and tried reinstalling my box. Which has now completely backfired on me because i cant find any channels. I have even tried putting old firmware back on it just to scan and pick up channels but no luck. I have now put the 3.00 back on but still cannot pick up any channels. I am in the North East area so my QAM is usually 64 and my MUX is usually set to 627.

Any help with this issue would be much appreciated!

try the auto scan, i found 260 channels with that

I have tried both auto scan and manual scan. I pick up 8 channels on auto scan and 0 on manual. Yes i have enabled using 1819 but just cant seem to pick up anything Any of u guys from the Teesside area?

Would taking the splitter out help my search or not?

my box froze after reboot had 2 turn it off and on again at power switch

double check you have 3.00 on box ,do a factory reset and rescan on correct provider?that should work or.

Yea definately 3.00. Iv done a factory reset several times. Things are now looking promising, it seems the more times i scan the more channels appear haha. I have now managed to get 120. If i just keep scanning maybe it will eventually pick them all up... strange!

just an update on my previous posts all back on updated again with new firmware just left it on pay channel came back on so all good!

Help me please

Hi all could someone help me please, i've tried to load the new firmware but it just won't upgrade. Ok here is what i've been doing.
I go menu>utility>usb>Veiw 3.00.ups>frozen .Happens every single time,it just freezes as soon as I chose view 3.00.ups, have to turn off the power at the back to start again. I have got a SV7 exp. date in Sept. please help

i have Downloaded the recent firmware 3.0 firmware, got all my channels back apart form movies , check the splitter not a issue with that my Qam is set at 64 i get 262 channels after scan any help would be very grateful thank you.
