starview 7 stuck on standby

    your right ,dont power off unless you must ,done three boxes now and worked fine until powering off and back on, what a con this world is sky is best for now

          been reading conflicting posts on this matter,101's,102's and some 104's and 106's being removed from server???? i updated to new fw about 3 weeks ago,didn't lose any sub time,box still on,starts with 104,anyone know the facts? i've been happy with the sv7,my first 6 months end this sept' and its been mostly trouble free and paying ?25 for the whole period i can't complain,unsure about renewing subs know though,sounds like sv are doing a lucky dip to me,i mean have they just not got round to me yet??

            Anyone going on their mini chat saying they're having problems with their box are being asked to provide the full box number.......and they are

            If I was more Cynical I'd say at this point if boxes ain't been killed off then these numbers are added to the hitlist.....I sat and watched minichat for a few hours,they're laffing their ducks off.

                well may stay good until u unplug ur box or have a power cut reading through this thread.
                kiddy dont seem to be denying it either, just handing out bans according to x members.

                      Hi lexy12 I have the same problem I turned off power overnite, in the morning red light nothing else i believe last update has caused this, believe sv team have created this prob asking supporters to fork out for new box , have put it to puter expert to check if one of the resisters have blown waiting keep in touch (eck)

                        I can confirm that mine only blew (green light on, nothing else) after I turned it off at the back, then back on again.

                            reading thru these posts, a lot seem to have recently took the subs and then when applying the 3.00 update bricked their box

                            like i said before both mine are 101,one was powered off for 8 days,working fine and the only difference i can think is that i paid a 12 month sub in march.

                                Sorry Chaps, but I had over 11 months left on my subs and the box is still showing the single green light !! I can't even get the FTA channels !!

                                I am really confused now, as looking at the information that has been added on another post on this site, kiddy is requesting to be contacted if you have 3+ months left on your box, if it is not working ??

                                but the SV team have told me that I need buy another box, they won't transfer my existing paid subs and i cannot buy from another provider (Lincs). On their site, they advertised a SV7 with 6 mth sub at ?95 and are 'allegidly' offering to existing members for a new box at a discounted rate of ?120 !!
