Starview channels gone

    Starview channels gone

    In the last few days channels have started to disappear from my box the likes of zee tv Mutv and all the adult ones

    i am hearing that ireland is getting new n3 or something and this is the problem does this mean that we are going to lose all our channels and the box will be useless how long is going to be before we see a fix for this or is there going to be a fix or are we going to have to buy new boxes

      Already a thread here somewhere. Yes it looks like a change of encryption, but will have to wait and see. Welcome to the forum.

          i was looking to get another box for upstairs so do you think it would be best to wait and see whats going to happen first before i get another as it could be new boxes after this i suppose ??

              Might be wise Mate , one of the site bosses may give you a better answer .
              I can only say , if you get 3 months use out of a ?90 starview , it's paid for itself .

                          n3 is short for nagravison 3 which may be the new encryption method virgin will use.

                                  starview 4. missing channels like mtv, zee tv celetic tv etc. Since yesterday when i updated my SV4. Few of the channels are missing. IS there a fix for this. please advise.. thanks a million in advance

                                      no fix change of encryption on some channels,best to have a read of irish problem not in uk yet.
