SV7 Fix?

got it almost there but at the end when connecting it says unable to connect !please check connection parameters?

dont know what to put at the top in connection parameters just says dreambox 1 -10 need help
or could this b a port issue,cheers

are you using a pc with xp and serial port/rs232 and null modem cable?

used windows 7 with usb to rs232 adaptor,now bin told when configure cf .dont click the o k button.sfill dont think it will work if chip is blown

ps dont get a euroview as a replacement, lots of probs need ironing out on them!

Epg is a no go, it also it goes off often it comes back on but with lots off swiching box off an on then waiting a min on a fta channel then going to the one you want!
if you want somthing hassle free then this box is far from it!
i complain to starpoo peeps an they told me to wait for firmware an i'm still waiting 2 weeks later!

i updated my starview 6 3 weeks ago now its gone off showing only the red and green lights any ideas

I have just got a green light on the front of my SV7, and the screen is blank & blinking. Is there a fix or is it a new box job? If so is the SV HD stable/reliable for cable use???

AIUI, Flashwizard pro only communicates by LAN not RS232, so it couldn't send anything to the box. The only possible way it can revive a box would be by having a voltage on some of the pins on a connector.
