My subs ran out today. My box is still physically working as only 6 months old. but obviously no "extras" Do i renew the subs with all the chaos going around. Conspiracy or no conspiracy, its a lot of faulty boxes just appeared on the forum. where should i pay subs, possibly ebay or somewhere on here?

Nobody really knows if SV (or any other offering) will be around tomorrow or the day after. Cardshare is always a risky business even before taking into account some of the very dodgy types who seem to run it ! -
agreed how would you feel if you did pay and it only lasted a few weeks before box died,the choice is to pay and hope it still works later,good to see you read the posts as most people dont.other option is to reflash it with 2.21 and you would have a fta box only.other choices are kryptview 2 boxes sd or hd and no subs or move to a sat box setup.Comment

thanks for comments. can i ask cactikid, as i know little of sat, used to have one before i moved house but a mate did all the set up back then. Can you recommend a set up for sat. I have a top of the range tv, and i mean top of the range, so if something has better picture quality then id be interested , i also wouldnt mind a second box upstairs but just normal hd tv upstairs. I dont mind doing the leg work if you have a recommendation of model numbers and expected price to pay, this would be appreciated. thanks. was it just me or was the sv7 like watching an old sega master system with all square pixelationComment

if you still have the cable the hd kryptview is reported to be good 38 hd channels which are nice and no subs,plenty of boxes in hd single tuner like a blade 7000 or vu solo ,twin tuner
boxes with optional hdd for recording like a vu duo original as the clones are having many issues or the vu ultimo 3 tuner top of the range.all these boxes are only fta and will need a sub to open those channels with card sharing which is a banned subject on many forums, [ google cccams for more info ].
square pixels might be a bad scart connection or loose coaxial.Comment
