Sending Signal To Another Room?

Bear with me please, I have my virgin box setup with the scart going into my tv & the RF output (normal aeriel out) is plugged into a socket in my wall which sent the signal to 2 other rooms. This works ok, apart from having to change channels in the living room. But when I changed it for my starview box & plugged the RF outlet from the rf out into the same socket, I can't get any picture at all. I have tried retuning the tv's in the other room, but am getting nothing. Is the signal too week? Any ideas, with a dummies guide on how to do it, if it means changing settings on the starview.

I may be wrong but dont think any of these non legit boxes work on the rf out think it there for show. you can run a scart fropm the vcr out to a video then use the rf out on video.
