New user having problems

Hi, I have just bought my StarView4, installed it, and run automatic setup. I now have BBC2 Northern Ireland and ITV Ireland, even though I am in the Midlands. Any ideas why, and how to get BBC2 and ITV Midlands? Regards, Iain.

try a factory reset if that doesnt work delete channel u dont want and rescan till u get channels u want

Hi
Press Ok on remote.
choose all channels category.
scroll down the page and eventually you will come to BBC and ITV.
You need carry out the next bit whilst the local news is on.
You will see 3 of each channel
Highlite the one that is not your area IE Granada.
Press menu and than delete. Press delete again. press (one channel menu) ok. press ok again.
then exit a couple of times till you are back out to your screen.
Check your ITV chanel to see if the local area news is yours.
Repeat again if you need to.
Do the same for BBC.
I am not sure how you have got BBC2 ireland.
When you scanned do your choose your correct provider. ( ntl/exC+W/telewest etc)
I am not sure who the provider is for your area.
