Starview 7 Problem

starview 7 not connected

My box had gone off, saying not connected even though I have 1 years subscription, which doesnt end till April 2013. I have tried everything still the same message "not connected".

New starview 7 patch file as of 1st august 2012

My box had gone off, saying not connected even though I have 1 years subscription, which doesnt end till April 2013. I have tried everything still the same message "not connected".

kindly go to this link and upload the latest version of the ups patch file for all starview 6 and 7 boxes,,use the instructions as with previous installations.
I have done it and the box works perfectly.

How did the latest version 7 patch came in 1st August 12 when boxes stopped working from September 12???

Hi, nearly all starview boxes went off as of mid July. You need to go here and download the file and install it in you box.

The "My Starview" forum seems to have disappeared today.
We were waiting activation after paying our subs some weeks ago, and so were loads of others.
Promises were being made but nothing happened.
Looks like we'v been had.

Paypal should refund our money. (With a bit of luck)

The My Starview forum is online, I've just been on there. The server did go down on 1st September and came back online on 3rd September, no new firmware required.

pitty it never stayed off line would have saved more people there money!!
