The "My Starview" forum seems to have disappeared today.
We were waiting activation after paying our subs some weeks ago, and so were loads of others.
Promises were being made but nothing happened.
Looks like we'v been had.

Paypal should refund our money. (With a bit of luck)

i got a refund within 24hrs after a mysterious paypal payment went to the SV team. appears it was unauthorised as only a man man would sign up for that load of rubbish and wait nearly 2mths for activation.

next thing they will say we have a problem in connecting your box,you will need to resub again and when you do its time to buy another box,plenty of starview threads to read folks.

Finally got fed up with excuses "The fix is filtering down" e.t.c and "Just be patient! Well, my patience just about reached saturation point and I contacted PayPal and obtained a refund of my subs.
Posted it on the My Starview forum and guess what?? I got banned!!!
Obviously they are not making enough money out of subs so the greedy gits want you to buy the new "Euroview" boxes before they use them to extract more money from us poor saps.

Do not touch them with a bargepole. I'm going to try Kryptview, as they don't have a sub to pay.
And no. I don't have any hidden agenda I just don't want anyone else to be ripped off by them.

Cheapest is openbox s10,s11 or f3 hd, then you just need a sea lion, google cardsharing

Good news. The box we had subbed before they bricked it and we had to get a new one. We have just learned from our credit card company they have refunded our subs as well.

My Starview 7 has been a Freeview box for over a year. I thought I'd checkout the latest situation & found a few guys on eBay offering 6 or 12 month subs. I'm very tempted, but having read the latest threads here, I'm wondering if its a waste of money at the moment. Any advice please?

got two,been running for over two years with no probs on sv6,the quality of service is fine,the glitching is virtually non existent and it costs less than a pound a week.

that is my experience and as such i would take the punt again.

I wouldn`t waste your money they are a waste of space i have just requested my money back and told them they are sh== i am thinking of buying a kryptview a780 or a dream box for the sky dish
