    appreciate your problem but a brief look through this site will give you all the answers you need. ie things went awol nov 2008 so june 2007 is obsolete, you need new firmware. you need a null modem cable(rs232) before you do anything.. sorry, had a bad day. please look in this forum. cheers mate and welcome. ynwa

      Yes seems to be a sv1 mate. have an old one kicking about and that is the system info on that but it has the new image on it.

      couple of things to try before a reflash.

      1 press menu, then type in numbers 1570, the cas system menu appears - check last option key emu is "on". if its not turn it on by using <> keys on remote.
      2. on the same cas menu, go to option that says something like default key and press ok.

      now exit back to tv and let it update. if it fails to update get the new image here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-v1-5-a-20848/

      thanks go to sunrise . if your not sure whether its a clone just use the 257 software it works fine on both.

      to flash buy yourself a null modem cable then:-

      Use GTrom to update

      * leave it on default settings usually, (COM1/115200)
      * Click on BIN File and select the new firmware.
      * plug your box into the PC using null modem cable
      * click on Download.
      * Wait till it says completed and your done.
