starview 5 bin file lost

    starview 5 bin file lost

    Hi, I have tried looking for a solution but keep go round and round, I have an old starview 5 usb 2 the box and lost the bin file can anyone link me a working bin file? I know I will only get the basic channels but it is better than nothing as O can still record. Thanks a lot for any help.

        Cheers for the help, I know it may be basic but I have just cancelled my sky so need something until I think about next best move, cable or sat.

            bad links

            Well, I have tried links all the way back to 2009 for starview 5 bin file just got taken to broken link pages, I know these are old hat but someone must have an old bin file surely?

                    any firmware will do on the sv5 even what you have on it.

                      you were already told in my earlier post #2 with a link where to look for the sv5 bin file, and that was on this forum with the file hosted here too

                      no need to try old hat links to somewhere else that no longer work, its been here right in front of you the whole time if you had looked where I linked to

                      but as already mentioned any bin file already installed should allow it to work for vm fta channels

                        thanks ramjet, Just to explain, there is no bin file on the box, tha's why I am looking for one. but if as some of you say it won't give me many channels anyway I will leave it for a rainy day, freeview is not an option, I have a sky box and satellite dish already intalled, so will snoop around getting a sat box thay may give em foreign sports channels. thanks all.
