    hooking up sv4

    noob question time

    once the sv4 has all channels on it do i still need my set-top box running and connected cos i only a two way splitter

    If your talking about a subbed box(vm) and yer still subscribing to tv then yes.if its not connected it wont be able to talkback to vm and its possible they may think somethings wrong with yer box or yer line.Always best to keep a subbed box connected.Just get a 3 way splitter.problem solved

      yeah i gots a samsung v box basic package so i would connect v box sv4 and my broadband cable to the 3-way that a lot juice going one line

        Yep that'll be fine.you should be ok on yer line.I've got 4 boxes and modem on mine.works fine

                Off course.Probably better off getting one already made up with fixed ends m8 as they tend to give less probs than making one up yourself.Often poor quality cable and connections can cause more headaches than anything(techi) with these boxes.

                  i dont have the kit to do it myself. maplins should have some right ?

                    Maplins will have all you need.Even the likes of B&Q will have the cable and probably cheaper but not sure about the splitters.
