    Euroview HD problems

Hi just needed some information and help, if someone could point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it.

I recently purchased a Euroview HD box first time ever using something like this. Worked perfectly for about 3 weeks however 2 days ago it froze whilst i was watching a film, so i restarted the box in hope that it would reboot working however i cant get any channels at all, all i get is scrambled channel. However after i rebooted the box i have noticed that on back of the small box i plug the ethernet cable into (ix-400) theres a small light that used to be green but now just flashes red constantly. the ethernet slot still flashes the usual amber and green, i have internet connection changed all the connections and wires but still get nothing.

I have checked the expiry date in the settings but it comes up saying no info, and when i check the mac address it says fffffff-fffff

I have tried to ring the person i purchased the box from however he wont answer the phone.

So that brings me to a few questions if i update the firmware could it correct the problem? If i update the firmware will i lose my old subs? And if i would lose my subs is there anyone who knows a way of getting subs?

Sorry the post so long just want to give all the information i can.

    Thanks in advanced
    Brett

Hi! i have one of these boxes to, if you have'nt changed anything then it should be ok! my box froze a lot so i was told on the site i got it from to turn off the box at the back (leave on a normal channel ie itv) turn back on after a min keeping on itv till light goes green! this worked for me the only thing is it goes off that much put it in the loft!

Having a MAC address of all FFF's means the dongle is fubared, usually a result of a bad flash.
